Simon Marsden's photographs have been exhibited internationally in both one-man and group shows, and can be found in many important collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, The Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, and The J.Paul Getty Museum in California.
The majority of the images were exposed on black & white infrared film, and are all archivally processed and printed by the photographer.
Carving on Tomb, Pere Lachaise (MA-T-006)
A great deal of work goes into the printing of the photographs (average exposure time in the enlarger is 12 - 15 minutes), which makes the production of each finished print an extremely intricate and demanding process.
The photographs are dry-mounted on 100% acid-free museum board, using acid and sulphur free dry-mounting tissue.
Each photograph is part of a limited edition of 25 prints per image and is signed, numbered and titled on the reverse of the mount by the photographer.
The prints are available in two different sizes:
- 16ins x 12ins mounted to 20ins x 16ins, price £1,500.00 + VAT
- 20ins x 16ins mounted to 26ins x 21ins, price £1,800.00 + VAT
Should you require the print unmounted subtract £50.00 from the price.
